  • 1.  Helmet questions

Does anyone have experience with the CEAN XT-4 (or previous version) helmet?
More specifically, does anyone know if it suffers from the bucket effect?

Manufacturer not responsive yet. I need to know if it will put any such strain on the wearer if immersed or dragged in the water, e.g., when in PWC or small-boat ops.

I'm aware of the liner-detachment flaw as well--has anyone had that experience?

Would anyone recommend the helmet, in general for both training evolutions, and for PWC, RHIB, and other small-boat activities?

    Thanks.
