Did anyone see posts of commercial fishermen wearing their PFDs? We would like to see them if anyone has images!
As part of the 'Wear Your Lifejacket to Work' campaign, we ran a photo challenge for commercial fishermen to send in their photos and win an ACR Personal Locating Beacon. We wanted to raise awareness of the campaign among the NE commercial fishermen, and to get more safety gear out to them (commercial fishermen have been telling us that having a Personal Location Beacon would increase their likelihood of wearing a PFD).

In one of the pictures you will see two fishermen wearing obviously well-worn  Kent Rogue II PFDs. They purchased these at the Lifejackets for Lobstermen van last May. Post located here:   https://www.facebook.com/LifejacketsforLobstermen/

Following this post, a fisherman wrote to ask for assistance replacing his worn out belt packs, also bought at the vans.

Good to hear they ARE wearing the gear, enough to wear them out --and to ask for more!
Great to be part of the campaign -it inspired us to do more.
