    Greetings All,

We at NOAA's Greater Atlantic Regional Fisheries Office are offering free digital messaging, texts, tweets, snaps, and video for use by individual states as a tool to elevate awareness of listed marine species as boat owners embark on the much-anticipated 2021 boating season. Several states have already embedded our message into their outreach materials, and we look forward to discussing future partnerships. If you have any questions, or would like to discuss this opportunity, please contact me directly at max.tritt@noaa.gov or

    Hello Max -

We would like to step-up our efforts to educate recreational boaters on threatened/endangered species. How do I access the materials?

    Hi Max,
I too would like to know how to access the materials regarding threatened/endangered species.  I do emphasize it during our public classes and would like to add a bit more in this regard

    Hi,
Your interest in this offer is very encouraging! We have several items readily available from a variety of NOAA sources and websites now. The resources are listed on an attached spreadsheet.
Here's a copy of a graphic we recently created. We modified a version of this specifically for the State of Delaware.

We're also in the final editing stages of a great new video that we produced for the USCG. When it's ready, I'll gladly share it with you for wider distribution.
    best,
    Max

The graphic shown is excellent; however, do you have a similar one for Florida? We have dolphin, manatees, sea turtles, and pelicans that are in need of protection.
I have taught boater education for 20 years for the USCG Auxiliary to youth as well as adults. My concentration with youth groups focuses on conservation of resources in the sea and air, as well as safety on boats and around the water.
    Thank you

Great News!  My colleagues in the Southeast have similar signage pertaining to their most prevalent species. Take a look at https://www.fisheries.noaa.gov/southeast/consultations/protected-species-educational-signs

Thank you for following up for southeast/west Florida endangered species. That is a huge help.
