    Good Afternoon,

I am looking for recommendations on jackets. We are looking for something that is light weight, wind resistant, and rain resistance. We use mustang jackets but Texas weather, it goes from hot then cold. They are also so bulky. Any recommendation would be great.

    Sir

Check out the Blackhawk Tactical Rain Gear.  My agency uses it and most agents are very satisfied with it.

Check out FirstWatch Gear. It's what my old agency (TPWD) just went to. They are a NASBLA Industry Partner and great folks. They are very open to working with you even in design changes. All the gear I use when teaching courses is their stuff and it's awesome. https://www.firstwatchgear.com/

    Good Day Mr. Garcia,
When you say "jackets" are you referring to outerwear or life jackets?  If life jackets, I'd recommend inflatables worn over whatever apparel is suitable for current conditions.  Lightweight, reliable, and compact are all accurate descriptors.  Look for a product with a Halkey Roberts 1F inflator mechanism.

You need to look at 1st Watch. I am not certain if you are asking about PFDs or rain jackets but they have both and are designed for first responders. Texas Game Warden now wear their PFDs and also their H2O tax rain gear.

Have you looked at the jackets made by First Watch Gear?  Float jackets in general tend to be a bit bulky.

I would suggest a company in San Antonio, Forum Direct.

Reach out to George or Tom.  They will actually come to you with several styles to review.

We used a company called Float Tech for our agency.  The jackets had removable shells and sleeves for variety of weather and we customized them with screen printing and embordered badges.  It is also an inflatable PFD.

I wholeheartedly agree with the First Watch recommendations!  Ross Johnston at First Watch will work with your agency to get the right gear.  If you're looking for rain gear go with the H20Tac Duty Jacket.

If it's flotation you need they have multiple options for hot/cold weather, inherently buoyant or inflatables.  https://www.firstwatchgear.com/
