August 28, 2017 – (Lexington, KY) The National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) will be holding their 58th Annual Conference in Rapid City, South Dakota beginning September 10th. The annual conference will bring together representatives from all U.S. states and territories to discuss the latest in recreational boating safety and maritime law enforcement. Individuals from local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, the nonprofit community and leaders in technology, training, education and boat manufacturing will be in attendance. Throughout the 3-day conference, attendees will learn about and share emerging trends, technology advancements and visions for the future of recreational boating safety and security.

“The NASBLA annual conference is always an exciting time for our association, our members and our partners as it is one of the only times in the year we are all able to get together in person and dig into how we are working to make a positive impact on recreational boating, maritime enforcement training, and increasing safety on the water”, says John Johnson, NASBLA Executive Director and CEO. “We are also looking forward to brining our attendees to Rapid City and giving them an opportunity to experience and explore South Dakota.”

The NASBLA Annual Conference is a combination learning conference, annual business meeting, policy committee meetings and workshop, and colleague roundtable event for state recreational boating safety professionals and others in the RBS community. Every year, the annual conference provides focused learning sessions, thought-provoking speakers, an expansive expo hall and networking opportunities for attendees. The 2017 NASBLA annual conference kicks off Sunday, September 10th and close Wednesday, September 13th.
