Your Dedication Makes a Difference – Thank You, NASBLA Volunteers!
Thank you, NASBLA volunteers

April is National Volunteer Month, and NASBLA is proud to celebrate the individuals who generously dedicate their time and expertise to advancing recreational boating safety. Our success is built on the commitment of our volunteers, and we want to take this opportunity to express our deepest appreciation to those who make NASBLA’s work possible.

First, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the NASBLA Executive Board for their leadership and vision. Their commitment to guiding the association ensures that we continue to grow and evolve in ways that positively impact recreational boating safety nationwide.

We also want to recognize the members of NASBLA’s six policy committees—Education & Outreach; Enforcement & Training; Engineering, Reporting & Analysis; Finance & Grants; Paddlesports; and Vessel Identification, Registration & Titling—as well as the Waterways Management Task Force. Your contributions and expertise help shape NASBLA’s initiatives and ensure that we are always working toward improving the safety and enjoyment of boating for all.

Additionally, we extend our sincere thanks to the members of the Boating Education Advisory Panel (BEAP), the Boat Operations and Training (BOAT) Program Advisory Panel, and the National Boating Standards Panel (BSP). Your continued involvement, leadership, and subject-matter expertise are critical to advancing national standards and best practices across recreational boating education, operations, and training.

Thank you for your dedication, leadership, and service. Your efforts strengthen the recreational boating community and help protect those who enjoy our waterways. This month and every month, we celebrate and appreciate all that you do!

Sincerely,
Tom Guess
Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director
National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA)
