The CRBP certification, developed by NASBLA, is a voluntary credential designed to recognize recreational boating professionals for their knowledge, performance, and career achievements across key program domains.
Josh Hoffman has served in the Boating Safety Education Program for the Arizona Game and Fish Department for more than 10 years. His work has ranged from installing life jacket loaner stations to teaching participants how to safely exit a kayak, how to bowfish, and even how to dock a boat without incident.
A former middle school teacher with 12 years of classroom experience, Josh brings flexibility, creativity, and patience to his work in boating safety education. He has been married for 27 years and is the proud father of an 8-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son, in addition to having fostered several children who have since grown up and moved on. Outside of work, Josh enjoys woodworking, hunting and cooking — but remains most passionate about encouraging everyone to wear a life jacket.
NASBLA congratulates Josh Hoffman on achieving the Certified Recreational Boating Professional credential.
