National Boating Standards Panel Seeking Applicants
The
National Boating Standards Panel (BSP) is seeking applications for new members to serve terms beginning in January 2025. Panel members serve three-year terms and represent one of five interest categories: commercial, non-governmental/nonprofit organization, federal boating agency, state boating agency and public.
BSP is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill vacancies in the Commercial (1), Public (2) and State Boating Agency (1) categories

The Standards Panel’s objective is to use a consensus-based process, in conformance with ANSI Essential Requirements, to review, develop, revise and promulgate knowledge and competency standards for recreational boaters and boating professionals serving the recreational boating community. The Panel also oversees other boating standards approved by the NASBLA Executive Board.
Applicants should submit a resume and a letter of interest that includes their name, organization (if applicable), interest category, and relevant expertise. More details about the Panel’s work, interest categories and member responsibilities are outlined in the
