NASBLA is seeking an experienced Education Director to lead national boater education initiatives. This is a senior leadership role focused on setting strategy, guiding standards, and working with state, national, and federal partners to strengthen recreational boating safety through education.
The Education Director will lead NASBLA's boater education strategy; oversee course review and approval processes aligned with national standards; manage key education and professional development initiatives; represent NASBLA in national forums; and support grant development, partner engagement, and education-related policy efforts.
Ideal candidates bring leadership experience in education, public safety, or related programs; the ability to collaborate across jurisdictions and organizations; and strong strategic and communication skills. Advanced education or equivalent experience is preferred.
