Help us build the Storm Boat!

I am writing to you as a Trustee of the New Hampshire Boat Museum (NHBM) to invite you to take part in a historic project.

The NHBM, in partnership with the WWII Wright Museum, is building a Storm Boat featuring a restored, original engine. This will be only the third operable Storm Boat of its kind in the world. As the original owners of Correct Craft were from New Hampshire, the Museum holds the exclusive rights to this build design.

The build begins on May 26th, 2026, and will continue through the month of June at our Wolfeboro, NH campus. Once complete, the boat will be paired with a precision-detailed trailer and pulled by an Army Jeep in the 4th of July parade.

Two of our members, including a representative from the Vintage Outboard Motor Club, recently assisted in a similar build which you can view here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bu-3ozGYg2I

There will also be an expert on this boat and its important role in United States  success in WWII.  This will take place on June 24th at the Museum (nhbm.org)
We invite you to join our volunteers, veterans, and members in this unique project. For more information on how to participate and be a part of history, please contact programs@nhbm.org, to sign up, or me directly, to answer your questions, at jaime@nhbm.org

    Thank you all!
