Federal regulations impact our jobs in the recreational boating safety community every day. This session will explore the regulatory process and take a look at the work of the National Boating Safety Advisory Council (NBSAC) Regulatory Review Subcommittee. In the subcommittee, The U.S. Coast Guard seeks the input of recreational boating stakeholders regarding the review and identification of U.S. Coast Guard regulations and guidance documents within the scope of the council’s purview in accordance with Executive Orders 13771 (Reducing Regulation and Controlling Regulatory Costs) and Executive Order 13783 ( Promoting Energy Independence and Economic Growth.)
