NASBLA Public Library

The Water Sports Foundation has released a video on the new life jacket labels. The video, targeted to boaters, shows the new labels and explains how they are to be used to aid consumers in selecting the correct life jacket. Additional information in the video explains how life jackets are tested to verify they meet safety standards.

The new labeling is intended to clarify both the activities a life jacket is designed for and how much life saving buoyancy it will carry.
