In the past two years, I have had two separate projects where the sub-base (existing soil) under the proposed parking lot was less than suitable for construction. The solutions to these two projects used two different methods. One solution utilized a geosynthetic stabilization grid in conjunction with base aggregate and the other solution utilized in-place soil-cement. Join me as I discuss how we overcame these issues for both of these projects.
