This educational banner was developed by the Water Sports Industry Association (WSIA) to promote responsible wake boat operation and courteous boating practices. Designed for display at boat ramps, marinas, boating events, and other public access locations, the banner reinforces three key recommendations for wake boat operators: stay at least 200 feet away from shorelines, docks, and other structures, keep music at reasonable levels because sound travels well over water, and minimize repetitive passes along any one section of shoreline.
Featuring the Wake Responsibly campaign branding and a clear visual design, the banner serves as an outreach resource to encourage safe boating, reduce user conflicts, and help protect shoreline property and the recreational experience of others. It also directs boaters to additional educational resources through the WakeResponsibly.com campaign.
