Seth began his career in law enforcement with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission in 2002. Part of Seth’s job duties included enforcement of state and federal regulations pertaining to boating, investigation of boating incidents and providing boating safety education to the boating public. In 2012, Seth promoted to the FWC Boating & Waterways Section as the Assistant Boating Safety Coordinator. In that role, he was responsible for reviewing all boating incident reports for Florida, updating and instructing officers on boating safety laws, incident investigation and boating safety education. This also began Seth’s involvement with NASBLA and specifically the Engineering, Research & Analysis Committee (ERAC). Upon retiring from FWC, Seth accepted a position with USCG as a State Program Coordinator. As an SPC his primary focus is assisting States with compliance of their Recreational Boating Safety Program, responding to inquiries on boating regulation and working with other organizations involved in recreational boating safety.
