This award recognizes the best all-around media outreach campaign running prior to and during the annual Operation Dry Water heightened awareness and enforcement weekend. Judges will consider all aspects including: content, use of imagery, graphics and video, engagement, presentation, innovation, creativity, originality, use of multiple applications, and impact.The winner will be invited to the NASBLA Annual Conference and will be recognized in person at the NASBLA Awards Banquet.
Following the ODW weekend, an online application will be available for agencies/organizations to include links, photos, files, reports and videos from their media campaigns (print, social media, newscast, billboards, etc.).
Any organization or law enforcement agency can compete for this award. The award application form will open July 6th, 2020.
Deadline for media award applications is August 15th.
